INS Story
The Iota Nu Sigma (INS) Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, was established October 25, 2002, in Worthington, Ohio. Chartered by five audacious and ambitious women, the INS sisterhood centers its engagement and outreach in the spirit of its seven precious founders, all of whom believed in service to and empowerment of the community for lasting change as being integral to its purpose.
More than half of our chapter members have advanced graduate degrees, including Doctorates. To date, Iota Nu Sigma is the third-largest Alumnae chapter in Ohio, and is the only chapter in Central Ohio that has the full Sigma family of Sorors, Philos, Rhoers, and Rhosebuds.
